STARTPLATZ is proud to announce that together with E-Commerce Instute we will welcome two employees of Meta for a guest Lecture and a followed up Q&A Session this Monday. You always wanted to know how it is to work for Meta? How advertising on Facebook can be done successfully? Then come and listen to the lecture of Ricardo Müller and Ben Keller.
Ricardo Müller - Creative Strategist
Ricardo works for Meta as a Creative Strategist out of the Berlin office. His main focus lies within emerging platforms and everything AR/VR. Before moving back to Berlin he worked with digital native clients and their creative partners in Meta's international headquarters in Dublin. Ricardo started his career in 2007 in Berlin and worked for various agencies such as TBWA, DDB, Grey and Heimat. During his agency time he and the team won several awards – including D&AD, ADC and Effie for clients like adidas, Absolut Vodka, Sony PlayStation, Pedigree, Whiskas, McDonalds, Sony and Volkswagen.
Ben Keller - Global Client Lead Automotive
Ben acts as Global Client Lead Automotive. He is responsible for the strategic partnership with major automotive customers at Meta. Ben ensures that Meta as a whole - with all apps, services, devices and technologies - is positioned in the strategic context of the automotive industry. Major topics here are branding and model communication, lead generation and sales promotion and the use of new technologies such as VR/AR in the enterprise as well as in the customer area of the large automobile manufacturers. In particular, Ben works on these latter innovation topics with the brands he oversees and worked early on towards the use of AR/VR in the area of communication for his clients. Ben has been with Meta for over 5 years and was previously also on the automotive team at Google. Previously, he worked for L'Oréal in Düsseldorf for three years.

We will outline what this means to us under aspects, such as inclusion, responsible innovation, etc. And we will also outline first use cases for certain industries based on Metaverse-realted technologies such as AR/VR and mixed reality world to inspire the students and aiming for a discussion in the end."
