We are officially launching the Düsseldorf chapter of AI Tinkerers. We are a vibrant, global community for AI engineers, developers, and researchers focused on hands-on building, sharing messy side projects, and early-stage discovery.

Often described as the "Homebrew Computer Club for AI," we prioritize technical depth and open collaboration over marketing pitches. This is the first event for our chapter, and we invite our neighbors from Cologne, Bonn, and Berlin to join us in building the local ecosystem.

We curate for people rolling up their sleeves. Whether you are shipping production-grade LLM applications or contributing to open-source agent stacks, you must be prepared to pop the hood and debug in public.

The stage is reserved for those actively building. We are looking for 3-4 lightning demos that expose the internals of your project.

The Rule: No slides, no pitches, no fluff.

We want to see the code, the architecture, and the messy experiments. Half-baked or buggy builds that demonstrate a novel technical approach are highly encouraged.

🔍 The Science Fair

Following the main stage demos, we move into a "Science Fair" format. This is an informal, decentralized session where you can bring your laptop, show your work-in-progress, and get direct feedback from fellow builders. It is the perfect venue for projects that aren't ready for the main stage but deserve a deep-dive walkthrough.
