Acht Teams haben in den vergangen vier Monaten den STARTPLATZ Accelerator durchlaufen. Die Coachings, Workshops und Founder Sessions fanden aufgrund der aktuellen Lage zum überwiegenden Teil im Remotemodus statt – was die Startups aber in keinster Weise daran gehindert hat, in dieser Zeit über sich hinauszuwachsen. Nachdem in Teil 1 bereits die erste Hälfte unserer frischgebackenen Absolventen vorgestellt wurde, werden nun vier weitere hervorragende Teams aus Batch #20 näher betrachtet.

Mehr als 80 1on1 Coachings, unzählige Pitch Trainings, Workshops und Founder Sessions zu Themen wie Finanzplanung, MVP Testing, Preisfindung und Recht brachten die randvollen Agendas der acht Teams aus Batch #20 in den vergangenen 16 Wochen zum Glühen. Gerade einmal zwei Wochen fand das Förderprogramm wie gewöhnlich vor Ort statt, bevor es für die darauffolgenden 14 Wochen in den Remotemodus überging. Dass Produktivität nicht zwingend an einen physischen Ort gebunden sein muss, bewiesen die Herzblutgründer durch ihren unerschütterlichen Willen, ansteckende Leidenschaft und bewundernswerten Mut.

Eine stolze Gesamtinvestitionssumme von über 150 Millionen Euro konnten die 200 Startups, die im Laufe der letzten sechs Jahre im STARTPLATZ Accelerator gefördert wurden, bis heute einsammeln. Um das Qualitätsniveau der Startups, die in den vergangenen 19 Runden über sich hinausgewachsen sind, zu halten und überdies zu erhöhen, zielt die Jubiläumsrunde, die am 2. und 3. März begann, stärker denn je darauf ab, relevantes Wissen zu vermitteln, um die Teams auf künftige Investments vorzubereiten.

Bringing two champions together: #STARTUPNATION TO MITTELSTAND unites Israeli startups and German SME – The official launch

It finally happened: With the official launch of the remote accelerator program named #STARTUPNATION TO MITTELSTAND, the groundwork for strengthened business ties between Germany and Israel was laid. The project that was initiated by STARTPLATZ, the Israeli Innovation Authority and The Israel Economic and Trade Mission in Berlin, kicked off with the Opening Event on 30th October in Cologne, bringing the top 1 % of Industry 4.0 startups from Israel to the industrial stronghold of Germany. The 10 startups showcasing their disruptive solutions in front of 140 representatives of manufacturing companies, industrial leaders and special guests like Dr. Andreas Pinkwart, minister of economic affairs, made for a successful kick-off and an even more promising outlook for the upcoming months to follow.

Philipp and Martin knew that they wanted to start their own business latest since they supported founders in the healthcare environment at RWTH Aachen. With their startup CardioConform, the two founders fulfilled their dream and now aim at improving databases and analysis as well as transferring business analysis concepts to the medical world in order to make a change and improve the medical quality provided by hospitals.
